MICHELLE RUSSELL

Michelle Russell comes from a large Aboriginal family. She was born and raised in Sydney but spent most weekends on Yuin Country with her Mob.

Michelle has always had a big love for Country Music and has released 2 Albums and 2 singles, and hopes to release her 3rd Album by the end of this year. 

The biggest highlight of her career so far was getting to share the stage with famous Aboriginal musician, Jimmy Little. 

Now based in Cooma, this year will be Michelle's first appearance at Giiyong Festival and she is looking forward to sharing her Traditional Country music with a new audience.
