Creating a Cultural Song & Dance - Ashweeni Mason and Emma Stewart from Marra Wanggan will showcase the creative process of transforming cultural teachings and a dreaming story into a song and dance using Aboriginal language, traditional and contemporary movements. The audience will be invited to participate in our 'Minga Mamaja’ song and dance as a way to retain the knowledge they have learnt. This teaching method of using song and dance has been used and passed down by our old people for over 60 thousands years.
