Glenn Shea is a descendant of the Ngarrindjeri people, around the mouth of the Murray River in South Australia.

Glenn was the first Aboriginal actor to graduate from NIDA, and is now a respected actor and playwright. He has appeared in many leading theatre productions, films and TV series including Redfern Now and East of Everything,  and his celebrated play, 3 Magpies Perched in a Tree, is described as an ‘extraordinary, vivid and unorthodox look at life on the streets of today’s Aboriginal youth.’

Glenn has invented an educational board game called The Storyteller, that aims to pass on what he has learnt about his heritage. It is open to anyone who wants to learn about the world’s oldest living culture and the land we share.

Glen will be demonstrating The Storyteller at Giiyong Festival, it is a valuable educational tool that will be particularly of interest to educators.
